The Opportunity:
This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious and driven property professional who wants to get involved in managing their client’s real estate portfolios, balancing the end-to-end tenancy life cycle, and seeing all lettings / estate agency activities right through to completion.
You’ll support the management of anything from a single unit or a group of apartments to houses or buildings in different locations or located on an estate. Part of a small but mighty team, we have big growth plans over the next 12 months, and this role is integral to our client value proposition as clients come to us for expertise and a bespoke and high-quality service tailored to meet all their property needs.
What your day might look like:
1. Supporting the end-to-end tenancy management for a portfolio of properties (and all lettings activity) including onboarding of new landlords, and tenants and progressing of tenancy applications, in line with process and regulations
2. Setting and collecting rent and other fees from tenants
3. Acting as the tenancy point of contact and providing relationship management
4. Handling Property inspections
5. Managing the property finances, by processing invoices, keeping accurate records
6. Maintaining the property and ensuring regular building upkeep by addressing tenant complaints, completing repairs, and coordinating any maintenance schedules
7. Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
8. Administering all customer and admin support concerning their client’s properties such as advertising units, negotiating lease terms, completing tenancy renewals, and issuing deposit returns
About you:
1. A confident and professional manner
2. Strong customer service and organisational skills
3. A positive attitude and be resilient when under pressure
4. Strong working knowledge of IT/ Word and other relevant computer software, including Microsoft Office
5. Excellent communication skills
6. The ability to work well as part of a team
7. Flexibility with the ability to work under minimal supervision
8. Strong negotiation skills
9. A full, clean UK Driver's license and access to a car/vehicle to attend properties and inspections Monday - Friday
Desirable:
1. Experience working in the lettings and property sector
2. Knowledge of the property and real estate market
