About the Role:
* Operate mobile plant and machinery in a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring smooth handling of fuel and ash.
* Support the plant's commissioning, mobilisation, and ongoing operations, working closely with the team to achieve set goals.
* Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and traffic management guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating mobile plant and overhead cranes to manage fuel and ash handling, following established procedures and guidelines.
* Assisting with loading, unloading, and weighbridge operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
* Inspecting incoming waste to ensure compliance with waste acceptance protocols, maintaining high standards of quality control.
* Performing first-line maintenance and keeping fuel and ash areas clean and organised, contributing to a well-maintained facility.
* Updating the CMMS with accurate maintenance records, providing valuable insights into equipment performance and optimising maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience in heavy process industries or waste-handling facilities, demonstrating a strong understanding of industrial processes and safety protocols.
* Certification and experience operating mobile plant equipment (e.g., forklifts, telehandlers), ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
* Familiarity with health and safety and traffic management in industrial environments, promoting a safe and efficient working culture.
* Prior involvement in plant mobilisation and commissioning is advantageous, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to learn.
