Human Resources Advisor reporting to the HRBP
Office based with travel through the North West (Greater Manchester, Preston, Warrington & Halton and North Wales areas).

The post holder will be part of a team that provides a professional, impartial and balanced Employee Relations (ER) advice service and case management provision to our business. The purpose of the team is to provide focussed Employee Relations support to the organisation and we are committed to delivering a high-quality service that clearly demonstrates added value to the business.
The post holder must hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own car. This is an office-based role with travel to support meetings within Children’s Residential Homes and Educational establishments.
The work we carry out is high volume, varied and fast paced. Although this role will be based in one of our North West Regional offices in Heaton Mersey, Stockport, travel will be required throughout the North West (Greater Manchester, Preston, Warrington & Halton & North Wales), covering both residential homes and educational sites.
You will have regular contact with Managers at all levels and will be focused on building strong and credible relationships with key internal stakeholders. You will be pragmatic and solutions focused with a balanced and highly ethical and impartial approach. You will deliver all HR activity in a consistent manner, reflecting best practice and appropriately mitigating HR related risks promoting positive employee relations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate and current regional case log.
2. Weekly regional case log reporting to Regional Operations Director and HRBP.
3. Administration of letters invites/outcomes/disciplinary/investigation packs, filing and maintaining employee personnel folders.
4. Organise meetings/booking venues and supporting with note taking.
5. Attend HR and Operational meetings on occasion and where appropriate.
6. Provide support to the Regional HRBP.
7. Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.
8. All roles will be expected to undertake any other appropriate duties as required by the Head of HR including providing cover for colleagues.

12. Be computer literate and proficient in use of MS Microsoft (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
13. Work flexibly according to the needs of the service.
14. Hold a full, current driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Experience within the childcare sector would be highly advantageous.
Desired Experience and Skills Required:
1. Note taking.
2. Knowledge of ITrent HR system.
3. HR and administration experience.
4. CIPD Level 3 or working towards.
