Please read on… What’s the role? As a Talent Acquisition Partner (Technical) at Arenko, you will play a pivotal role in helping us rapidly build a world-class team. Collaborating closely with the People Team and hiring managers, you will proactively network and engage with top talent, leveraging both direct outreach and partnerships with selected agencies. While your primary focus will be on recruiting for technical roles within our Technology team, there will also be opportunities to work on positions across other areas of the business. This is an internal recruiter role, offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months, providing an exciting opportunity to make an impact from day one – taking responsibility for enhancing our recruitment practices and driving the growth of our ever-expanding team. Our tech stack includes: Backend services in Golang Cassandra, TimescaleDB databases and s3\Athena lake Backend microservice architecture with Pulsar, RESTFul and Websocket APIs AWS for infrastructure GitLab for version control and code management, and CI/CD If you have experience sourcing top talent in these areas, we want to hear from you You will proactively source candidates through external platforms such as LinkedIn and Otta to build a robust talent pipeline. You will manage all direct applications, ensuring prompt follow up and high-quality candidate engagement. You will write and upload job descriptions and adverts to our relevant platforms, optimising for visibility and engagement. You will screen and assess candidates to ensure only the most qualified individuals are presented to hiring managers. You will build a great working relationship with our Technology leadership team to understand and help to shape the skills, structure and culture of our team as it grows, using your experience and domain knowledge to provide feedback, insight and support. You will continuously evaluate and improve the talent acquisition process at Arenko, identifying areas for optimisation to secure top talent while ensuring a diverse and inclusive pipeline. You will partner with hiring managers to support the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate journey. You will work closely with the People Team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new starters. You will manage and liaise with external agencies and recruitment partners to meet hiring objectives. You will manage and regularly update our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and functionality. You will champion Arenko's People Culture and strategy, promoting our values and vision to potential candidates. Who are you? Here at Arenko, we appreciate every single employee and the values they bring to the company so you might be completely different to what we expected. That being said, here’s a few things we’d love you to tick the boxes on; You have 3 years proven experience as a Tech Recruiter, ideally within the software or technology sector. You have excellent knowledge of the UK recruitment market including recruitment best practices and UK employment laws. You have strong sourcing abilities with a track record of finding talent for hard to fill technical roles. You have experience with ATS systems (familiarity with BambooHR is advantageous but not essential). You have an understanding of technical roles and skills, particularly Golang, AWS, Backend microservices, databases such as Cassandra, TimescaleDB) and GitLab. You’re a strong negotiator who is independent and highly organised with a strong attention to detail. You’re an enthusiastic networker, with established and proven contacts and drive to keep your personal network continuously up to date. You have excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers. You have a proactive and resourceful approach to problem solving with a passion for finding the best talent. So what’s in it for you?
