Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper Location: Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire (Flexible/ Fully Remote Working) Hours: 18 – 37.5 per week Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year (Permanent, or 6-month FTC before Permanent) About Us: My client is an accounting firm based in the Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire area. This role is perfect for someone with a bookkeeping/ office manager background with experience in a practice setting.This role offers adaptability for the right candidate, ideally with a minimum commitment of 18 hours per week. * Manage a diverse range of clients using cloud software
* Perform bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
* Handle basic administrative duties
* Review VAT Returns for compliance
* Produce performance reports to provide valuable insights
* Be a go to contact for clients and liaise internally as necessary
Experience Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience (required)
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting practice (required)
* Proficiency in Xero software (required)
