JOB: Project Manager (Water Industry)
LOCATION: Maidstone
TERM: Permanent
SALARY: GBP 55,000 to GBP 70,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading company in the water industry, based in Maidstone. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of water:related infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality, budgetary, and timeline expectations.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
: Proven experience managing projects in the water industry, including wastewater or clean water infrastructure
: Strong knowledge of water industry regulations and standards
: Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
: Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera
: Exceptional communication and leadership skills
: Ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
: Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites
The Project Manager role will involve:
: Managing all aspects of water industry projects, from initiation to completion
: Preparing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and ensuring they are adhered to
: Coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects effectively
: Ensuring compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements
: Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
: Leading regular project meetings and reporting progress to senior management and clients
: Overseeing procurement and resource allocation to ensure smooth project delivery
: Driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices in project management
