Junior Buyer - £24k - £28k
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our client's growing buying team in Crawley. You will be responsible for managing outstanding purchase orders to ensure the delivery of goods in line with customer expectations and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities for the Junior Buyer:
1. Liaise directly with customer service and the warehouse to confirm the delivery of goods and update system information accordingly
2. Accurately record all communications with suppliers into the system
3. Amend the current system to reflect product and supplier information and inventory level changes where appropriate
4. Liaise with customer service and the warehouse regarding delays that will impact customer orders
5. Raise, track, and manage purchase orders
6. Investigate slow or missing orders
7. Investigate purchase order, invoice, or delivery issues
8. Carry out stock checks as required
9. Manage sample requests
10. Book in stock in the absence of the Purchasing Administrator
11. Support the development of team KPIs and strategies to aid purchasing performance
12. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
1. Strong IT skills with proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
2. A positive attitude with the ability to deliver excellent customer experience and satisfaction
3. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
4. Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with other teams throughout the business
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Proficient planning and organisational skills with a methodical and logical approach
7. Experience of ensuring quality standards are maintained
Salary: £25k - £28k depending on experience
