Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Outpatient Neurological Physiotherapist (working at Band 6 level or above) to join the team. You will see a wide range of neurological conditions and will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to. Experience across a range of neurological specialties is expected, with outpatient rehabilitation desirable but not essential. Based in the Nuffield Leeds Hospital, where you can treat your patients utilising state of the art gym equipment and rehabilitation facilities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including fitness professionals and clinicians to optimise the health of our patients. As part of our neurological service, you will link up with occupational therapists and speech and language therapists. You will need to deliver high quality, effective clinical care predominately within the out-patient setting, with a possibility of reviewing patients post-operatively on the ward if a neurological opinion is required. The successful candidate will be able to help grow and shape the neurological branch of our physiotherapy service, and will have access to our marketing team to help grow the caseload. We encourage flexible working, which can include triage working from home and flexibility with shift patterns. With a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You will have evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, particularly within the neurological arena, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
