Teaching is central to CUH’s purpose and we are looking for an experienced Educator to join our Non-medical Clinical Education team to operationally lead education and training of Clinical Apprentices across the organisation. You will work in collaboration with the Education Lead for Clinical Apprentices to broaden and deepen the skills and knowledge of our learners. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead a team Clinical Facilitators to deliver and evaluate high quality education both in the classroom and clinical area.
As part of the wider education team you will be pivotal in supporting all learners to develop their careers, expand their knowledge and skills through education and training. You will work in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of education aligns to the Trust strategy and the Heath Education England Quality Framework. Working in collaboration with the Education Lead you will provide assurance to the Senior Management Team that educational governance and quality are a priority.

Operational lead for education and training in Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Lead and facilitate the delivery of programmes ensuring they meet the Trust values and the requirements of statutory and professional standards.
Lead, plan, implement and evaluate education and training across the non-medical workforce.
Line manages the Clinical Education Facilitator/s to ensure delivery of objectives.
Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders managing placements, mapping, and ensuring an individualized approach to enable learners to meet their role requirements.
Create practice-based opportunities for learning to reinforce the classroom-based theory so that leaners achieve the requirements to complete their programme of study
Prioritise the wellbeing of learners within CUHFT and oversee pastoral care to learners across the organisation and escalate as appropriate.
Ensure support for learners in practice by monitoring the provision of continuing professional development.
