Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, age:appropriate activities that encourage childrens learning and development
* Maintain a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive
* Assist with childrens personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and rest times
* Build positive connections with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear and open communication
* Observe and record childrens progress, celebrating achievements and identifying growth areas
* Collaborate with team members to foster a warm and inclusive nursery environment
* Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety policies consistently
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
* Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
* Paediatric First Aid qualification is an advantage
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young childrens development
