As one of the region’s leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors, they employ around 500 staff and generate an annual turnover of £50 million. With ambitious growth plans in place, they are looking to expand their skilled workforce. The Role This role focuses on electrical work within domestic properties, carrying out a variety of tasks, including: General electrical repairs and maintenance. Full and partial rewires, refurbishments, and electrical infrastructure upgrades in both occupied and vacant properties. Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs). Installation and upgrading of smoke alarm systems. Fault finding and repairs. Electrical installations for new contracts. Skills & Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installations. 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. AM2 or equivalent. 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable). CSCS Card (desirable). Full UK driving licence. Salary & Benefits Basic salary: £39,817 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Pension: Defined benefit pension scheme with employer contributions of approximately 18.5%. Holidays: 21 days per year, plus 8 bank holidays (rising to 26 days after 5 years’ service). Attendance bonus: £600 per year for zero sickness absence (paid bi-annually).
