The School of Arts & Creative Industries seeks an individual with a good honours degree and higher degree (Ph.D. desirable) in Art Psychotherapy, plus significant practical and research experience. You will provide learning, teaching, and assessment within the academic discipline of Art Psychotherapy, undertake research/scholarly activity and/or consultancy, and establish and maintain effective liaison with external organisations.
This post is available as an Academic Contract (PhD essential) to contribute to the School's growing research activity alongside teaching, OR as a Teaching, Scholarship and Professional Practice (TSPP) contract designed to enable staff to focus their work on industry engagement alongside teaching.
You must demonstrate strong academic experience in course leadership, curriculum design, delivery, assessment, and quality assurance of learning and teaching. Willingness to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and experience of postgraduate supervision are essential. Excellent theoretical understanding of Art Psychotherapy is crucial, along with an understanding of current and emerging platforms and practices and social, political, and economic movements within the field.
