We are a well-established, collaborative department who aim to be outstanding role models of English to our pupils. We are an outward looking team with a keen interest in up-to-date pedagogical ideas and methods. An array of subject specific CPD is offered to our department to build our subject knowledge. Many extra-curricular opportunities are provided for our pupils to build a love and passion for our subject.
We recently become an all-through school, the first in Cambridgeshire, and have pupils from age 4 – 18. The addition of our primary phase, over the coming years, will also provide lots of additional opportunities for staff to work in the primary phase as well as the secondary and Post-16. It is imperative that we ensure our pupils access a curriculum which is relevant and ambitious throughout their journey at Cromwell. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is driven and wants to work collaboratively with the primary phase in addition to further improve GCSE and A-Level outcomes.
About the role:
We are looking to appoint an inspirational English teacher to join our successful team at Cromwell Community College. The successful candidate will be teaching across KS3 and KS4, and possibly KS5.
This role is due to begin in September 2025.
