Job Summary
Are you a well organised and highly motivated individual? The Rudding Park events team's core purpose is to create timeless memories and instinctive care in exceptional spaces.
To be responsible for event and group reservations at Rudding Park, including bookings for meetings, events, golf, spa and weddings, concentrating on maximising revenue for all areas through upselling and cross selling. To achieve and exceed all set service level agreements, key performance indicators and guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle and convert telephone, email and face to face enquiries & showrounds to exceed service level agreements
* Ensure all booking details are correctly completed for events, weddings, rooms, golf, holiday park, spa and restaurants including but not exclusive to, profiles, market segment, source of enquiry, rates, payments and sales pipeline (traces)
* Maximise occupancy and revenue for all revenue streams by upselling and cross selling in line with pricing strategies so to exceed key performance drivers i.e. conversion rate, budgeted room hire, meetings and events food and beverage, average room rate, occupancy
* Demonstrate high quality guest care to exceed service requirements
* Ensure booking confirmations and payments are issued and followed up within the agreed service level agreement
* Deliver accurate and detailed event function sheets in a timely manner and to a high standard
* To take responsibility for managing your own account managers, guests and workload.
* To attend all meetings and training sessions when requested

* Any other duties as requested by the Event Sales Manager and Assistant manager
GENERAL
* Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and also to colleagues, guests and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures.

* Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and guest care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable.
