The Role: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location: Remote with regular visits to Juniper offices and key clients
Salary: £23,810 per annum & Potential to earn £5,000 OTE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm)

The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business opportunities and expand our reach in the education sector. In this role, you’ll be responsible for outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound leads, and conducting in-depth market research to identify cross-sell opportunities across our product offerings.
You’ll engage with educational institutions, school and office staff, and key decision-makers to introduce and promote our innovative educational solutions. As a key player in building our sales pipeline, you’ll contribute directly to our company’s growth and impact in the education industry.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential customers, including schools, colleges, and universities, through research and outreach.
* Inbound Lead Qualification: Respond to inquiries, assess customer needs, and qualify leads.
* Outbound Outreach: Engage potential clients through email, calls, and social media.
* Relationship Building: Connect with key stakeholders, such as teachers and school and office staff.
* Product Knowledge: Understand and communicate the value of our educational solutions.
* Collaboration: Work with sales and marketing teams to ensure a smooth lead handover.
* CRM & Reporting: Track interactions and report on sales pipeline progress.
* Industry Awareness: Stay informed on education trends, funding, and technology.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Qualified leads generated per month
* Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate
* Weekly outbound activities (calls, emails, meetings)
* Response time to inbound leads
* Contribution to pipeline growth and sales revenue
* Potential to earn £5,000 OTE
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
* Ability to research and identify high-potential leads
* Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service (preferably in education)
* Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and email campaigns
* Knowledge of the education sector is a plus
