Employee Relations Manager (Sickness Support Team)
Working arrangements: Full time - 6-month contract.

Spencer Clarke Group are searching for an Employee Relations Manager on behalf of a public client. Within this role you will provide first line Human Resources advise along with support to the employees and managers, which are in line with the organisations policies and procedures and adequate employment practices.
You will work alongside the Senior employee relations advisors and the HR Business Partnering team to deliver a sufficient and excellent HR Service, you will be the first point of contact for providing reliable and effective advice for all general HR enquiries, following this you will be expected to provide expertise advise to complex enquiries.
During your working day you are expected to manage your own time and diary commitments, along with leading the management of complex sickness related absence cases for the Trust. You will arrange sickness meetings as well as attend them. You will provide advise and support line managers during long- and short-term absences which will carry right through to holding termination meetings.
You will be responsible for supporting along with managing cases which relate to fixed term contracts, visa renewals, professional registrations, flexible working requests from all staff groups and managing probation periods throughout the whole trust.
What we're looking for:
* Sufficient GCSE Level (including Maths and English)
* NVQ Level 5 or the equivalent professional experience CIPD or working towards.
* Knowledge of the employment law relating to employee relations is essential.
* Experience using HR and Payroll systems, along with experience of handling difficult situations as well as sensitive situations.
