Personal Tax Manager (with Optional Accounts Split)
£Ollie@aai-media.Our client, a forward-thinking accountancy practice, is seeking a qualified individual to support their Directors in managing a portfolio of Personal Tax clients. This position offers significant career progression and development opportunities. Notably, the role can include a 30% Accounts component if the successful candidate has experience with FRS 105 or FRS 102 1A accounts.
Oversee a varied Personal Tax portfolio, working closely with a Client Director
Manage all aspects of client care, including ad hoc communications, compliance, billing, and preparing quotes for new services
Handle personal tax work—from compliance to advisory—within specified budgets and timeframes
Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified or managerial experience in a UK accountancy practice, focusing primarily on Personal Tax
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service
Ideally qualified ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA (or equivalent), although strong candidates qualified by experience will also be considered
Experience in Trust Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax is preferred, but those willing to train in these areas are also welcome
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
Experience with Iris, Sage, Xero, or other Cloud-based accounting packages
Training and mentoring junior team members
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
