We have a great opportunity for a Shipping Administrator / Order Processor to join a small and friendly team to provide key administrative support to all areas of business. This role requires an effective communicator with excellent administrative skills to act as a liaison between customers, internal departments, and Export Agents to ensure deadlines are met and compliance procedures are adhered to. Delivering exceptional customer service is paramount for this role. Primary responsibilities: Receive and review incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Confirm credit management, pricing, discounts, and freight charges before processing orders. Set up new customers on our business management system. Communicate with sales, customer service teams and Despatch Department to resolve any order discrepancies or issues. Input orders into the company’s business management system. Process card payments. Liaise with customers on matters of credit management. Co-ordinate and arrange the shipping of orders with consignees and Shipping Agents to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Generate necessary shipping documentation. Maintain accurate records. Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer queries relating to order status, tracking information, and shipping details. Proactively communicate any order-related issues, delays, or changes to customers in a timely and professional manner. Work efficiently with internal departments and communicate effectively. Ensure adherence to shipping regulations, custom requirements, and legal obligations. Maintain accurate and organised documentation for all shipped orders. Process Customer Returns and Complaints Support Service Department on matters relating to repairs, re-calibration, and Service Contracts Key skills and qualifications: Sales Office / Customer Service experience Excellent organisational skills.
