Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Engineering team, playing a key role in ensuring optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the uptime of CHRA and VSR equipment for both current and new manufacturing processes.
* Deliver engineering solutions to resolve daily production process downtime issues.
* Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness by enhancing equipment availability.
* Support New Product Introduction processes during 'off design tool' testing, ensuring alignment with APQP, PEP, and PPAP procedures.
* Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma methodology to ensure manufacturing methods align with customer satisfaction standards.
* Maintain and improve internal Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures to enhance working methods.
* Identify and implement improvement opportunities through root cause analysis, kaizen processes, and other problem-solving techniques.
* Facilitate and update Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Control Plans.
* Manage procurement of final assembly equipment and tooling to meet UK PUWE Regulations.
* Manage capital for OPEX projects, including initial proposal, specification, budget requests, and budget control.

Experience & Qualifications Required
* Previous experience in manufacturing and product engineering.
* Relevant qualification in engineering.
* PLC, Pneumatics, and Electrical experience.
* Tooling and fixture design experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Working knowledge of modern logistics, warehousing, and assembly machining processes.
* Greenbelt certification.
* IOSH Managing Safety qualification or equivalent (e.g., 'Pilz' Managing Safety with a machinery safety qualification) preferred.
