As a Social Worker on the Homeless Intervention Team you will
* Aim to prevent children coming into care
* Work with young people aged 16/17 who are homeless
* The social workers need to have experience of undertaking this type of work as it requires a therapeutic approach, and they would preferably have training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP).
* The Senior Practitioner role would also require this same level of training and knowledge as well as having experience of supervising alternatively qualified staff (Family Intervention Workers).
* Due to the nature of the work, caseloads are low however it is intensive work so we need workers who can respond to families quickly
What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK license
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
