Teach Match Education Recruitment Agency is looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant with a background in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) to join a supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children and supporting their individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons to KS1 students, with a focus on those with SEND
* Assist in creating a tailored learning environment for students with various learning needs
* Provide 1:1 support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop socially and academically
* Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Support with behaviour management and promoting positive social interactions
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with SEND students, ideally within a primary school setting
* Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with a range of learning needs
* A proactive, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* A genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential
