Cadbury College is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in English & Drama to join our vibrant and forward-thinking learning community. Responsibilities
In this role, you will teach A-Level English and Drama, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that motivate students and help them develop their skills. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their development. Collaboration with colleagues and the wider college community will be essential in fostering a culture of academic excellence and creativity.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
We are seeking a candidate with previous experience of teaching A-Level English and a strong academic background in the subject. A recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above is essential. A passion for Drama education and the ability to use innovative teaching methods to engage students will be highly valued.
Teaching Qualifications & Salary Banding
To be eligible for our Qualified Lecturer salary banding (£30,583 - £46,263), you must hold one of the following teaching qualifications:
Accepted Qualifications:
* DTTLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
* Certificate in Education
* PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
* DET (Diploma in Education and Training)
* DiT (Diploma in Teaching) – if for a vocational subject
If you do not hold one of the above qualifications, you will fall into our Unqualified Lecturer salary banding (£25,611 - £28,817).
Not Accepted as Stand Alone Qualifications:
* PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
* CTLLS (Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
* CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults)
