Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Billing and Credit Controller, based in Newark-On-Trent with some work-from-home flexibility two days per week. The Billing and Credit Controller will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring the timely collection of payments, reconciling accounts, resolving billing discrepancies, and performing credit control activities. Key tasks include preparing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, negotiating payment terms, and collaborating with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience in billing processes and credit control
* Strong financial reconciliation and account management skills
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Proficiency in using accounting software and financial systems
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
* Experience in the healthcare or social care sector is a plus - but not essential.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field would be preferred.
