The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Management Surveyor to oversee the daily operations of a diverse commercial, industrial, and retail property portfolio.
The role requires regular communication with institutional fund management clients and leadership over a team of property managers, graduates, and on-site staff. You will also work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
Strong client relationships and a proactive approach are key to success in this role. Responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, occupiers, and internal teams.
* Preparing detailed client reports on property management performance, service levels, and financial matters.
* Managing rental income, service charge budgets, and lease compliance to ensure financial accuracy.
* Advising on asset value enhancement, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and investment strategies.
* Identifying opportunities to introduce specialist services, including sustainability initiatives and strategic property improvements.
* Overseeing common area services and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.
* Conducting or arranging regular property inspections to monitor compliance and service delivery.
* Assisting with acquisitions, disposals, and tenant applications for assignments, subletting, and alterations.
About You
* A hands-on, solution-driven professional with strong commercial awareness.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to instill confidence in clients.
* MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
* Experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues, including graduates and apprentices working toward their professional qualifications.
