About the Role
The Interior Fitter role will be working with our interiors group. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys work that is very hands on. Interior fitter experience is preferred in aviation, homes, boats, or high-end experience in addition to tooling and materials experience. Fitter will need to be able to access data and interpret manuals and engineering drawings.

4x4 Day Shift: 0700-1900

Previous Aviation experience.

The Interior Fitter-I works under supervision to remove / install aircraft interiors by using Company
Operating Procedures, Technical Data and Quality Standards.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
1. Safely perform the removal, installation and maintenance of aircraft interiors (including but not limited to, galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and vanity ledge fill panels). Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and regulatory paperwork, sign¿offs and quality specifications. Specific fit and installation tasks are to be completed in compliance with work order instructions and specifications.
2. Removal, Installation and Replacement of soft furnishings including carpets.
3. Repair and trimming of interior products.
4. Use the computer tracking system to create parts demand, raise defect cards.
5. Follow Standard Operating Procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools / power tools. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.
6. Comply with Safety, 6S, and general housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk.
Additional Functions:
1. Assist other departments as required. .
2. Ability to work unsupervised. .
Perform other duties as assigned.
