Job summary
The post holder will undertake the monitoring, recording and booking of appointments and managing a busy telephone line, the receiving of all incoming mail and ensuring action is taken appropriately, processing clinical letters and other correspondence. Alongside undertaking a wide range of administrative duties.
You will work in conjunction with other team members; ensuring administrative support is available to all members of the Hub. This will include liaison with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals, GP's, social workers, service users, and other appropriate agencies.
It is essential that applicants are able to work on their own initiative, demonstrate effective organisational and administrative skills.
Main duties of the job
Provide an efficient service to the Community Mental Health Team ensuring that all enquiries and booking requests are processed in a timely and efficient manner under circumstances of minimal supervision.
Assist in the booking of outpatient appointments within the Community Mental Health Team with the guidance from the Admin Lead and Team Manager. The post holder will assist in the development of a smooth running appointment booking system for new and existing patients within the service. The post holder will ensure effective communication pathways exist in a manner, which positively reflects the values of the organisation.
