About the Role As a Water Monitoring Technician, you will travel extensively across areas from Peterborough (PE) to the South Coast, visiting multiple customer sites daily. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct water monitoring activities while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This role offers the opportunity to develop into a fully qualified Legionella Risk Assessor with training provided as part of your career progression. Key Requirements Must hold a full UK driving license and be 21 years or older (due to vehicle insurance requirements). Strong awareness of Legionella control and basic knowledge of water management. Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple site visits in a day. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regions. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English. Responsibilities Conducting routine water monitoring activities, including temperature checks, water sampling, and recording results. Ensuring compliance with Legionella control measures and health and safety standards. Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for client review. Supporting the wider team with water hygiene-related tasks as needed. Proactively developing skills and knowledge to progress into a Legionella Risk Assessor role.
