Job Title : Associate Practitioner - Point of Care Testing - London Banding : Band 4 Location : London Start: ASAP Duration : 3months Rate : £ 15 - £ 18 Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37,5 hours per week We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 4 Associate Practitioner to join our Point of Care Testing team in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care through accurate and timely point of care testing. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our healthcare team, ensuring that testing procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively. What will your responsibilities be : As a Band 4 Associate Practitioner in Point of Care Testing, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic tests at the point of care, ensuring that results are accurate and reliable. Your duties will include preparing and maintaining equipment, collecting and processing patient samples, and recording and reporting test results. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality control standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will provide support and training to other staff members and contribute to the continuous improvement of point of care testing services. Qualifications and Experiences: Relevant qualification in Biomedical Science or a related field Experience in point of care testing or a similar role Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software Strong understanding of quality control and assurance processes Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuous professional development Why work with Pulse?
