Our client, a long-standing manufacturing firm based in Stockport, is currently looking to expand their existing team with a proactive, self-managed Customer Service Executive. Working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, you’ll be responsible for taking inbound calls from customers to respond to enquiries and process orders. You’ll need to be an expert relationship builder, with high levels of accuracy and confidence using spreadsheets / CRM, who thrives in a busy environment.
Job Description
Key duties will include:
Answering incoming calls in a professional, friendly manner
Processing orders, providing updates and answering any queries
Inputting relevant details and customer information from new customer enquiries to pass on to the sales team
Taking customer payments and advising on the returns policy
Recording and managing any customer complaints
Maintaining accurate records and assisting with reports to identify ways to improve the customer experience
Person Specification
Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate:
Proven customer service experience in a similar telephone-based role
Knowledge of using spreadsheets and CRMs to input orders
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers
Problem solver who likes to find solutions and deliver great outcomes
Strong organisation skills and ability to manage workload independently
In return, the company offers a salary of £26,000 plus an annual profit share bonus, competitive pension scheme and excellent benefits package. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9.00am-5.30pm, and 9.00am-5.00pm on Fridays. You will work from their offices in Stockport for 3 days per week and may work remotely for 2 days per week. Flexibility to support peak periods is required.
