Geography Teacher/Professional
Protocol Education is working with local schools to appoint enthusiastic and committed Geography Teachers and specialists to join their teams. We are looking for individuals who carry a passion for Geography, working with young people, and making a positive impact on their lives and education.
Roles Available in Areas of: Bath, NE Somerset and surrounding areas
Start Date: Easter/September 2025
Employment Type: Full time - part time/job shares also encouraged to apply and would be considered.
Qualified Teachers paid to scale.
QTS/ECT preferred. Schools are also happy to receive applicants from Unqualified Teachers with Subject Specialism.

Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students - Unqualified Teachers not expected to plan.
2. Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
3. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning.
4. Establish a positive and supportive learning environment.
5. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support.
Required Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT is preferred.
2. Degree/Experience in Geography or related field.
3. Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Geography.
Experience:
1. Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary school level is preferred.
2. Experience working with Children/Young People within education or similar field (coaching, youth work, etc.).
3. Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Excellent understanding of Geography concepts and principles.
2. Effective classroom management skills.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
