We are seeking a Policy and Data Analyst, which is a key role within our Strategy and Performance Team. The strategic advice and guidance we provide underpins the Council’s policy and the decisions of our Cabinet members and Senior Leadership Team by playing a significant role in performance across the council.
You will lead on the interpretation and analysis of strategic statistical performance-related information and provide high-quality research and engaging communication on national policy and local and national economic trends related to all areas of the council.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with demonstrable experience in the policy and performance field. A skilled researcher and technically competent in data interpretation, as well as the ability to provide high-quality advice tailored to different audiences. You will also have previous experience of using data visualization tools such as PowerBi.
