Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join our small, friendly People team based in Draycott as a People Co-Ordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Posting of Job adverts both internally and externally
2. Talent Screening: Review applications, conduct initial screenings, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
3. Candidate Experience: Ensure candidates have a positive experience by providing timely feedback, clear communication, and support throughout the hiring process.
4. Recruitment Administration: To prepare and issue offer letters and contracts of employment and maintain accurate records.
5. Induction of new joiners: Delivering day one induction presentation and co-ordinating with other teams to deliver their part.
6. Management of shared inbox: Triaging and escalating to appropriate team member.
7. On and off boarding of employees: Ensuring communication with relevant departments including IT and Payroll.
8. Training: Monitoring, planning and co-ordinating internal and external training.
9. Systems: Accurate and timely administration of training platform to include uploading training forms handed in by managers.
10. Monitoring Absence: Highlighting to People Advisor triggers according to policies.
11. Raise Purchase Requisitions: Track through to ensure timely payments of invoices.
12. General day to day administration: Cover for other team members during annual leave.
Key Requirements/Skills:
1. Strong administration background
2. Proficiency in MS Office
3. Excellent attention to detail, a “right first time” approach to work and ability to maintain this during busy periods
4. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
5. Ability to think and plan ahead, anticipate needs and proactively problem solve
6. Excellent organisational skills
7. Diligent information security awareness
8. Able to prioritise multiple conflicting demands
9. Personal accountability and ownership with a level of tenacity to ensure a positive customer experience in everything you do
Experience:
1. Minimum of 3 years Administration within an office environment
