We are looking for a process-driven and analytical Operations Manager for a creative and sustainably minded furniture business based in the Guildford area. This hire will be responsible for leading production, logistics, delivery, and customer experience teams, in a role central to the delivery of industry-leading experience from point of sale to delivery.
They require a candidate with an aptitude for operational efficiency, strategic vision, and a proven record of delivering improvements to day-to-day productivity. The successful candidate will be capable of training, developing, and inspiring people.
This candidate will be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with marketing, merchandising and sales to help the business excel.
Confidence with CRM systems, data analytics tools, and process automation is essential, alongside experience managing multiple teams.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Manage KPIs & SLAs
2. Manage critical path for key projects
3. Develop operational strategies to align with business objectives / risk mitigation
4. Liaise and manage primary supplier relationships
5. Manage stock control / levels
6. Oversee order management
7. Oversee Production Team & workflow
8. Oversee the Sample Fulfilment Team
9. Identify skill gaps / training requirements
10. Ensure compliance with HR, H&S and policy / employment regulations
11. Utilise data to improve processes / meet service goals
12. Implement quality control to ensure products meet brand / regulatory standards
13. Collaborate with internal / external stakeholders to deliver an intuitive user experience
14. Review future operational needs
15. Ongoing financial analysis to optimise pricing and margins
