This General Manager role is leading a team of 200+ colleagues in one of Everyone Active's premier facilities, which has just been levelled up again with a £5 million refurbishment. If you have experience managing a varied facility with multiple departments, both wet and dry side, then perhaps this is the next role for you. We are looking for candidates who have a high level of commercial drive and motivation, to manage in a new contract that has modern and diverse client expectations.
To give you an idea of the scale of the site and business it has, 5,600+ fitness members, 3,000+ swimming lesson members, new 160 station gym, 2 swimming pools, 5 football pitches, a large cafe, 2 studios, large soft play centre, sports hall, two squash courts and more. We're looking for someone who leads on the front foot, successfully managed multi million pound revenue streams, and is motivated to be the best.

Horfield Leisure Centre is Bristol’s premier health and fitness facility, which is nearing the completion of an exciting £5 million refurbishment. This opportunity comes at a fantastic time, where the successful candidate will be managing the facility to its new potential. This role would suit an experienced manager looking for a new challenge, and will be expected to have experience in managing multi million pound revenue streams. A sales and retention focus is vital so candidates must be target driven with high customer service standards and a proven track record for success.
We need a General Manager who will…
* Be passionate and determined to drive forward new business, to exceed sales and revenue targets whilst delivering a high standard of customer service and retention
* Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and strong management skills to maximise the overall profitability of the centre
* Manage their time and ensure deadlines are met for reporting and projects
* Manage health, safety and quality standards within their centre and has IT experience
* Create a fun and friendly environment in which you are a role model of professionalism, honesty and integrity as you interact with your team and centre members whist embracing our company values
This centre boasts 160 station gym, 200+ staff, 2 swimming pools, 2 studios, large café, soft play, sports hall, squash courts, and therefore requires a manager who can inspire and lead a large team with multiple departments.
