As a Contract Manager, you will be at the forefront of changing lives through skills and work. Your role will involve managing and developing our Advanced Learner Loans programme, fostering strong relationships with funding bodies, employers, learners, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of contracts, coordinating operational delivery and growth of funding and contracts in partnership with key stakeholders.
Strategic Planning: Lead business planning and development, including budget preparation and management, ensuring effective financial control and strategic growth.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong business relationships with Job Centres, partner organisations, employers, and funding bodies to secure future opportunities.
Project Management: Implement robust project management and review procedures, ensuring quality and compliance, and driving contract performance.
Business Development: Identify and initiate sales and business development opportunities aligned with company objectives.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory changes and support internal and external audits, including Ofsted requirements.
Performance Monitoring: Facilitate regular contract reviews, monitor regional targets, and ensure consistent achievement of sign-ups, leads, and completions.
Team Leadership: Motivate and coach team members, conduct supervisory meetings, and manage team performance to maintain high service levels.
Operational Support: Oversee MIS, systems, and database management to ensure seamless operational support.
What We Expect:
Sector Knowledge: Extensive experience in the skills and employability sector, with a deep understanding of the funding landscape, ESFA, and Ofsted criteria.
Attention to Detail: Forensic attention to detail and strong data analytical skills, with a focus on compliance, quality, and customer excellence.
Financial Acumen: Proven expertise in business planning, budget preparation, and financial management.
Adult Education Experience: Experience working with adult learners and an understanding of the unique challenges in this sector.
Sales and Recruitment: Demonstrated success in sales or recruitment within a target-driven industry, with a track record of developing productive relationships with employers and external agencies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience engaging with key stakeholders at the highest levels.
