Description:
Working in the production department of this manufacturing organization, undertaking all forms of electronic assembly and related tasks
Responsibilities:
Ability to solder, wire and form components to military standards (J-STD)
Ability to follow written work instructions.
A keen eye for detail
Ability to maintain a high level of concentration.
Ability to distinguish colours
Must possess good manual dexterity and have a good level of literacy and numeracy.
Knowledge of magnetics wiring
Knowledge of wiring diagrams / schematics
Ability to use workshop tools
Perform precision soldering of electronic components on PCBs per military standard
Inspect and rework soldered joints for quality assurance
Follow detailed work instructions and diagrams
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Document and report any defects or issues
Collaborate with the quality control team to improve processes
Education / Experience:
IPC-A-610 qualification or equivalent
Good time management skills and has a positive and methodical approach to work
Ability to use soldering equipment
Electronic component recognition
Self-motivated

Compensation and Benefits:
Hours of Work:
38 per week, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm (half hour lunch) Monday – Thursday, 8.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday.
Pension:
Group Stakeholder Pension Scheme. Company’s contribution 5% of basic salary, employee contribution a minimum of 4% of basic salary
