As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Used Vehicle Sales Manager to drive our remarketing strategy and maximise vehicle sales revenue.
About the Role
This role is exclusively focused on commercial vehicles (HGVs, trailers, LCVs) and requires a deep understanding of the industry. You will be responsible for managing used vehicle sales, developing remarketing channels, and ensuring sales targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the sale and remarketing of used commercial vehicles, predominantly trucks and trailers, through wholesale, trade, and direct-to-business sales.
* Develop and manage relationships with fleet operators, logistics firms, dealers, and independent buyers.
* Identify and expand remarketing opportunities across the UK.
* Ensure vehicles achieve or exceed sales pricing targets.
* Work with the marketing team to enhance visibility through advertising, online platforms, and trade networks.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including sales pricing, vehicle stock turnover, and time-to-sale metrics.
* Collaborate with operations teams to optimise refurbishment, logistics, and vehicle presentation.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in commercial vehicle sales – ideally within trucks, trailers, or fleet remarketing.
* Strong knowledge of HGVs, trailers, and light commercial vehicles, including their specifications and resale value.
* A track record of B2B sales success, dealing with fleet operators, logistics companies, trade or franchised commercial vehicle dealerships.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse market trends and pricing.
* Full UK driving licence.
