Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive PA to provide maternity cover on a fixed term contract, providing support to their Head Teacher. Client Details Our client is a large educational organisation based in Kingswinford recruiting for a PA to report into their Head Teacher. They have a strong reputation within the Not For Profit sector, committed to delivering high-quality services and making a positive impact in the community. Description To provide an efficient and confidential administrative/secretarial service to the Headteacher, including drafting outgoing correspondence, papers, and school documents as directed. To attend meetings as and when required, prepare agendas, papers, and supporting documentation as well as take minutes and follow up action points where necessary. To maintain the Headteacher's diary, arrange appointments, prioritise meetings as appropriate, and ensure the Headteacher is adequately briefed. To make travel arrangements for the Headteacher. To manage verbal and written communications on behalf of, and in conjunction with, the Headteacher, ensuring the highest quality presentation of documents. To act as the first point of contact within the school for staff, parents and others seeking contact with the Headteacher. Using judgement to deal with visitors to the Headteacher who arrive without appointments. To liaise with the WAT Executive and Central Team and other academies within the Trust as required. To receive visitors on behalf of the Headteacher and provide hospitality as required. To receive post in all matters addressed to the Headteacher and draft letters to staff, parents/carers, and all other key stakeholders. To work alongside the Headteacher and leadership team in the organisation of school events. To provide administrative support to the leadership team as required. To maintain a high degree of confidentiality. To attend open evenings and other school events as required. To organise workload and prioritise on a daily basis using own initiative and knowledge of work, with minimum direct supervision from the Headteacher. To maintain relevant filing and computerised systems. To lead on marketing and communications activity for the school including social media and school Profile A successful PA should have: Proven experience in a similar role within the Not For Profit sector. Exceptional organisational and administrative skills. Proficiency in MS Office and database management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
