About the Role:
As Lead Teacher for Inclusion, you will be responsible for the Intent, Implementation, and Impact of our inclusive curriculum across a range of provisions. Working in close collaboration with the SENDCo, you will help shape and deliver an inclusive, personalized education that meets the needs of all our students, particularly those with SEND. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead, influence, and develop our inclusion provision while making a lasting impact on the learning journeys of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Curriculum Leadership: Oversee the intent, implementation, and impact of the Oak curriculum and wider Inclusion interventions.
* Collaboration & Development: Work closely with the SENDCo to write, review, and circulate policies, documents, and development plans for inclusive curriculum provision.
* Resource Management: Manage the deployment of resources, including staffing, for the Oak curriculum and other Inclusion provisions.
* Monitoring & Data Tracking: Collate and track data to support SEND provision and ensure effective use of resources and interventions.
* Engagement & Communication: Maintain strong communication with parents/carers to ensure they are well-informed about the support and provision available.
* Meetings & Reviews: Chair Annual Review meetings for Oak curriculum students and coordinate referrals and external professional involvement.
* CPD & Training: Deliver training and share best practices in Inclusion across the school, ensuring staff are well-equipped to support vulnerable students.
* Whole School Impact: Lead on curriculum implementation for vulnerable groups across the school and support the training of staff in inclusive practices.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status, ideally with some SEND experience.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans for inclusive education.
* Commitment to Professional Development: The successful candidate will be fully supported in their professional growth
* A proactive, solution-focused attitude with a clear vision for how an inclusive curriculum can support all students to reach their full potential.
* Excellent communication skills with a passion for working with students, parents, and colleagues to foster an inclusive learning community.
