Your Role:
You will be responsible for investigating and assessing claims on our product range to determine the extent of the liability, making a fair settlement with the claimant. This involves investigating the facts of the claim, collecting and reviewing evidence, inspecting and assessing damage details, and interviewing relevant parties to determine the validity and value of the claim. You must be able to negotiate settlements, detect fraud, and use your knowledge to work towards a fair resolution.
Key Accountabilities:
* Carrying out investigations and gathering evidence.
* Assessing claims and determining liabilities.
* Negotiating settlements.
* Making recommendations to insurers.
* Liaising with claimants, clients, and third parties.
* Adhering to the claim's procedure and service levels.
* Maintaining system case records.
* Assisting in data analysis and reporting.
* Identifying customer vulnerabilities and acting accordingly.
* Maintaining positive internal and external relationships.
Skills Required:
* Ability to interpret and communicate product terms and conditions.
* Ability to deliver outcomes to consumers in a constructive way.
* Strong investigative abilities.
* Ability to negotiate with third parties.
* A proactive, problem-solving approach and a positive attitude.
Experience (preferred but not essential):
* Working in a high-volume customer service environment.
* Operating within a regulated framework.
* Working in a results-driven team environment.
