Occutrace is looking to further complement and complete our team of Field Technicians. The role involves travel across North and South London, but we’ll keep you as close to home as is practicable.
Our ongoing client contract focuses on investigating unrecorded water consumption across the region. The role requires you to visit specific sites identified by our in-house analysts. Your site investigation will validate any water supply connections and water usage, achieved digitally using mobile app technologies.
You will use your own vehicle, and we will reimburse your mileage at 19 pence per mile in addition to all work-related vehicle parking. We will also register your car for any zonal charges that might apply to your vehicle.
Training will be provided from day 1 along with uniforms and identification. Ongoing, we will help you attain water industry accreditation and specific training to help you work on other projects as we continue to expand our workstreams.
You should enjoy working outdoors in all weathers, be comfortable being a lone worker, and also working as part of a close-knit team. Travel plays a big part of your day; therefore, route planning efficiencies are a must. Lastly, passing a DBS check is an expected outcome to secure any offer of employment. While water industry experience is desirable, your ability to demonstrate an ability to take instructions and learn quickly is a plus.
About us
Occutrace
Our goal is to improve the accuracy of customer and market data for companies within the utilities sector and beyond. More accurate data brings smoother operations, increased revenue, and improved customer experience. More efficient water and resource management means less impact on the environment.
Occutrace SERVICES: Non-Consuming Meters (NCM) tracing, Long Unread Meter tracing (LUM) tracing, Unaccounted-For Water (UFW), Vacants Management, Desktop & Phone Tracing, DMA Excellence.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: 26 years of combined industry experience have been poured into the Occutrace app. Our software and systems were created for the water sector and built by those who deeply understand it at every level of the industry – spanning IT, software development, and executive level.
INNOVATION: Occutrace is the only service that combines bespoke app technology with physical checks. Expect high efficiency and high accuracy as standard.
NO RISK: We are confident in the effectiveness of our approach, which is why we put our money where our mouth is unless our service turns up something of commercial benefit to you. It’s a simple way of working that we hope creates confidence.
THE POTENTIAL OF DATA: Water wholesalers and water retailers already have vast data at their fingertips. However, with some key elements of poor levels of accuracy, what could be an asset is instead serving as an expensive liability. This is where we at Occutrace can help. We’ve set our sights on transforming the water sector using cloud-powered technology that merges with old-fashioned techniques – like field agent visits and quality control. It’s a balance between innovation and human hard work, which is delivering results such as an improvement in billing accuracy of 83%, a figure achieved through our meter read service for one of the world's largest water retailers.
