About The Role
We are looking for a passionate support worker, who will provide great care that allows our service users to feel safe, respected and valued. Essential skills/responsibilities:
* To work as a care assistant / healthcare assistant / support worker for patients as part of the care team with the support of senior staff.
* To undertake aspects of care with or without direct supervision, including coordinating recreational groups, personal care, activities for patients and escorting duties.
* To ensure the safety and well-being of patients, and to always work in a manner that promotes dignity through the adoption of person-centred care.
Desirable skills:
* Experience working with mental health within a similar setting.
* Positive can-do attitude.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Solid IT skills.
Schedule:
* Overtime.
* Weekend availability.
* Night Shift or Day Shift.

About Us
Greenwood Cottage has provided support for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and complex needs for almost 30 years. We offer accommodation and 24-hour care for six individuals, all of whom are currently 50+ and require additional support. Our main focus is to provide care and support to our residents, allowing them to meet their full potential and live happy, fulfilled lives in a safe, caring and homely environment.
