We’re looking for someone to lead our Learning and Development at Kraken! You'll be responsible for designing and delivering innovative learning solutions that support team onboarding, cultural training, leadership development, and discipline-specific training pathways.
What You'll Do
1. Develop a forward-thinking global learning strategy that aligns with our cultural principles and business goals.
2. Lead the implementation of new learning technologies (LMS & Career Marketplace), driven by a skills-based approach.
3. Build a blended approach to programmes for team onboarding, culture immersion, leadership development, and role-specific skill-building.
4. Develop engaging learning materials to make learning enjoyable and effective.
5. Work with external performance coaches, content development partners, and client-facing experience teams to co-create impactful learning experiences.
6. Regularly assess learning needs, gather feedback, and refine training initiatives to drive performance.
7. Leverage AI, automation, and external platforms. Lead on our apprenticeship schemes.
What You'll Need
1. Proven ability to design and implement global L&D strategies aligned with business goals.
2. Experience working with diverse international teams and adapting programs to regional needs.
3. Skilled in working with external partners, including performance coaches and content developers.
4. Experience of leading high-performing learning and development teams.
5. Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders, aligning learning with business strategy, and drive organisational change.
6. Experience managing budgets, measuring ROI, and linking learning to business performance.
7. Expertise in LMS implementations, AI-driven learning, digital transformation, and emerging learning trends.
8. Passionate about fostering a strong learning culture while ensuring the function is scalable and sustainable.
9. Experience within large-scale business transformations.
