Your role and responsibilities We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial and Commercial Operations Analyst to join our team. This role involves analysing financial data, providing insights, and supporting strategic decision-making for our commercial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of financial principles. Responsibilities - Analyse financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to optimize commercial operations. - Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide financial analysis and recommendations. - Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. - Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Required technical and professional expertise - Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within a commercial or operations context. - Strong proficiency in Excel, with experience using advanced formulas, functions, and data visualization tools. - Solid understanding of financial & commercial management principles, including accounting, budgeting, financial modeling, and reporting - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly. - Strong and demonstratable stakeholder management skills. Preferred technical and professional experience - Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. - Familiarity with data analytics tools like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau. - Knowledge of commercial operations, supply chain management, or related fields. - Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies. - Experience of resource management, effort estimating, pricing, contract, forecasting and invoicing. - Team leading experience.
