Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
* Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
* Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
* Negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project specifications are met.
* Monitor and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
* Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
* Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress and financial status.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management software).
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently.
