We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Lead to join our award-winning Business Change and Technology team on a 18 month Fixed term contract. Reporting into the Test Lead you will fully understand and comply with the Mitchells & Butlers Testing Methodology and Processes. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all testing activities for the Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation and implementation programme to include preparation and execution are planned, scheduled, completed per the Mitchells & Butlers Test Policy and Project requirements. In this role you will make sure that relevant test environments are configured and maintained in a multi-application/software environment to facilitate all testing requirements.
This role will involve a mixture of office and home working, with our Head Office based in Birmingham City Centre.

What you’ll be do as our Test Lead…
* Support the Project Managers and senior stakeholders in ensuring that all Project Test requirements are delivered on time and within budget
* Escalation point of contact, for Test related issues.
* Build and maintain robust ways of working between the Test Team and the wider Support Teams that includes, Development, Business Analyst and Business Owners
* Provide an open and honest environment within the team to encourage discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
* Assist the Test Manager internal and external Project and BAU Test Related communication, to ensure clarity and quality of information is maintained to the correct standards.
* Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
* Ensure that all Test specific documentation is maintained to the highest standards
* Provide training and guidance to new team members where required
What you’ll need to bring to this Test Lead role…
* Strong Leadership qualities
* Automation knowledge and experience is mandatory
* Experienced in planning & running UAT and other Test cycles.
* QA experience in Oracle fusion cloud implementation and migration testing/ HR Pgms is desirable.
* Experiences in testing methodologies, processes & Test cases.
* Strong functional understanding.
* Strong communication.
* Agile knowledge is desirable.
* Ideally looking for a candidate with lead experience..
* Working experience of Azure DEVOPS & Jira.
Qualifications and experience Required…
* ISTQB Qualification
* Degree or higher in IT/Computer Science
