1. Operate production high speed and automated line machines to the required health and safety, quality and environmental standards, informing the line leader of any issues.
2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness across all areas of responsibility.
3. Operate production lines to achieve agreed efficiency targets.
4. Working at various positions on the production lines assisting with the filling, capping, labelling, packaging and palletisation of product.
5. Carry out other tasks as requested by the line leader.
6. Look for any opportunities to improve the performance of a packaging line and bring these to the attention of the line leader or shift manager.
7. Be fully involved with any AM activities that take place on the line on which you are working.
8. Ensure adherence to all HR policies & procedures, particularly in relation to equal opportunities and harassment.
9. Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with the company’s codes of practice / compliance model.
10. Adhere to the sites personal hygiene standards and practices.
11. Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping.
Qualifications/Experience
12. Good standard of general education.
13. Good written and verbal English skills.
14. Reliable and punctual.
15. Able to take and follow instructions from the line leader.
16. Capacity to learn how to operate relatively sophisticated packaging machinery.
17. Good IT skills
