Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Marketplace Manager for its growing online retail business. You will be responsible for achieving the targets set for the Amazon (UK and International) and eBay accounts through effective sales and data management.
Responsibilities
1. Achieve targets for sales revenue and contribution.
2. Provide timely and accurate account information to management of performance against targets, forecasts including week on week activity.
3. Assume responsibility for the day to day management and maintenance of the Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central platform.
4. Achieve qualitative performance targets as agreed in the AVS 2020 Vendor Improvement Plan.
5. Create a business development plan to achieve agreed KPI’s for eBay and Amazon, utilising Amazon AVS, AMS and other appropriate promotional mechanics.
6. Actively develop and maintain relationships within the Amazon account.
7. Oversee performance of existing listings, making changes to assets and page optimisation where necessary.
8. Ensure all information within Vendor Central/Seller Central catalogue is up to date, including product detail/price, weights/dims, imagery, and keywords.
9. Creation and ongoing listing management to increase rankings, product views and conversion of products on Amazon, including competitor monitoring, review generation and Buy box monitoring.
10. Responsible for creating category and keyword research, sales forecasting, and competitor insight.
11. Amazon marketing management including creation, management and optimisation of product and brand campaigns.
12. Work collaboratively with other departments to create, develop and deliver promotional campaigns that are aligned with Amazon marketing activities.
13. Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure Amazon account requirements are constantly being met and maintained effectively.
14. Maintain an up to date knowledge of the wider category and competitor activity.
The successful candidate is expected to have a solid working knowledge of trading on Amazon from managing individual listings, running advertising campaigns and adapting the business approach to respond to market and Amazon changes in order to deliver results.
