Learning and Development Technical Facilitator

The Learning and Development (L&D) Technical Facilitator is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality process training within the assigned Revenue Cycle function. This role ensures that colleagues are fully equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to perform their roles effectively.
Initially specialising in Revenue Assurance as part of Revenue Cycle — the individual will later cross-train to support both the Contact Centre and Patient Access. Collaborating closely with department managers and Process & Policy Analysts, they will create and refine training materials that align with business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
Success in this role requires strong facilitation skills, excellent communication, and the ability to engage and inspire learners. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, technically proficient, and possess a strong ability to influence and drive learning outcomes.
What you’ll do:
1. Create streamlined, exceptional service pathways, with consideration on the impact of patient experience.
2. Identify trends/patterns of customers’ pain points and work with business partners to resolve.
3. Implement internal best practices across HCA UK, ensuring to uphold and demonstrate the One HCA UK missions and values in all aspects of the role.
4. Collaborate with department SMEs to develop process training and learning materials, delivering process training workshops to ensure colleagues know how to perform their job confidently.
5. Evaluate the preparedness of individuals and their understanding of relevant pathways.
6. Ensure to gather continuous feedback through evaluation and refinement of training activities.
7. Collaborate with the L&D Manager and teams across the UK and USA to implement best practices, providing timely feedback on colleague development.
8. Maintain the online Revenue Cycle hub where department resources can be accessed.
9. Foster good and professional relationships with the key stakeholders across revenue cycle.
10. Ensure L&D benefits are realised, and risks are transparent and communicated to stakeholders and senior management teams (SMTs).
What you’ll bring:
1. Experience developing and training staff on processes and people skills.
2. Experience effectively organising training events.
3. Ability to deliver interactive online and face-to-face training.
4. Experience designing and developing training programmes.
5. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
6. Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development or equivalent experience.
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as highly effective presentation skills.
