Responsibilities
for this Commercial Manager role:
1. Management of a commercial team, 4-5 direct reports
2. Contract Negotiation
3. Weekly P&L development, liaising with the Commercial and Finance Director to ensure P&L are accurately reported
4. Full contract administration of the NEC3 contracts
5. Procurement of subcontract resource, materials and equipment
6. Cost Value Reconciliations
7. Management of AFPs to the client and assessment of AFPs for Subcontractors
8. Minimise/mitigate total risk exposure
9. Forecasting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
10. General team development ad continuous improvement
Key Requirements for this Commercial Manager role:
11. 10+ years of experience in a commercial role, ideally a background in Quantity Surveying
12. Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role
13. BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
14. FTTx experience highly desirable, would consider individuals with wider utilities experience
15. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships upstream (clients) and downstream (subcontractors
16. IT Literacy, Microsoft office suite, MSP Project & Visio
17. Team leadership, experience managing and leading commercial teams
18. Experience working on NEC3/4 contract suite
19. Full valid UK Driving License, travel to client sites may be required

20. Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience
21. Hybrid, 2-3 days in the Midlands office
